01.  Fee reminder
CID Members are reminded to send membership fee for 2015. Use www.paypal.com, Western Union or send check to avoid bank charges. Fee is always 55 euros for individuals, 110 euros for institutions, 30 euros for students ($US 80, 160, 45). Only recipients of a letter of confirmation for 2015 can use the prestigious title of Member of the International Dance Council CID.

02.  Presentation of book in Madrid

08.  Curriculum for all dance schools
Dance is a serious subject - how come almost all dance schools teach without a program? No terms, no subjects, no exams, no title of studies. Ask for the Curriculum program of the CID aiming at International Certification of Dance Studies.

02.  Dance and Visual Arts

Conference in Shanghai, 15-20 October 2014. Inviting groups of up to 15 performers, covering all local expenses.

08.  Positions for soloists in Russia

14.  Competition of young performers, Slovenia
To promote contemporary dance and discover fresh talents. For performers born between 1990 and 1999. Solos or duets choreographed by the performing dancers. Prizes between 300 and 800 euros.

15.  Children's festival in Turkey
20-23 April 2014 near Istanbul. Shows twice a day, duration 20 minutes. One day free for visits and shopping. Groups up to 37 persons including drivers. Children 10-14 years old.
 
16.  Disability dance festival
In Ljubljana, Slovenia, 8-11 May 2014. You can apply as teacher of a workshop or as a participant.

17.  UNESCO prize for peace
The Felix Houphouet-Boigny Prize consists of 150,000 dollars, a gold medal and a diploma. UNESCO has asked CID and its other NGOs to nominate candidates. CID Members can send nominations of important personalities in their respective countries, together with a report on their outstanding achievemnets in the promotion of peace.

Schools can offer International Certification of Dance Studies to their students. A parchment certificate will be sent to the school to be handed to the student at a special ceremony. 02.  World Congress in San Marino

The 32nd World Dance Congress will take place in the Republic of San Marino 27 June to 01 July 2012. Proposals are welcome for research reports (papers), performances, classes, lecture-demonstrations, exhibitions, video projections. This is the most prestigious international event in the field of dance. Average attendance is 400 professionals from 40 countries of the 5 continents.
